The Role
If you're a Creative Design Manager, with a passion for design and a creative spirit, we want you to be part of our mission to make cybersecurity education accessible and engaging for millions of learners worldwide.
You’ll lead our talented design team (of two) in creating visually stunning content for our rapidly growing online cyber security training platform. As well as being hands-on, you will collaborate with teams across the business to deliver consistent and impactful designs across various channels, and play a pivotal role in evolving our brand.
- Recruit, manage and lead designers; holding 1:1s and performance reviews
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to create and check designs to ensure creative output is consistent and messages land appropriately with customers
- Providing other departments with regular progress updates on projects to keep them informed of progress
- Create visuals, brainstorm concepts, work with team members and department leads to develop concepts, and ensure that the final product is aligned with the company standards
- Continuously update the brand guidelines to stay on top of design developments as the company grows and evolves
- Oversee that new techniques and processes are used to provide best quality of designs
- Develop high-quality illustrations and designs for training courses, social media posts, blogs, landing pages and more
- Design assets for presentations, brochures and emails that aligns to our brand style
Skills & Requirements
- Ideally 3+ years experience managing a team of designers to consistently meet company goals
- Experience working in a start-up, scale up or small agency environment is preferred
- Have strong graphic design foundations mindful of typography, colour usage, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience using THM’s creative stack:
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe After Effects
- Lottie (animations)
